01
Contact &
planning
Indoor air quality concern or disaster restoration? We start by understanding your situation, confirm key details, and book the on-site visit.

02
Assessment & scoping
On site, we assess indoor air and building conditions, document findings, and identify likely contributing factors. For disaster restoration, we define scope and verification criteria.

03
Reports & protocols
We deliver a written report with findings, likely causes, and prioritized recommendations. When appropriate, we also provide a protocol to support corrective work and verification.

Our approach

Independent, Evidence-Based Assessment
Independent by design: we don’t remediate. We investigate, document findings, and deliver evidence-based recommendations. A written protocol can be provided for your contractor.

Root cause -
before results
No guesswork: we follow the evidence. Moisture, ventilation conditions, materials, particles, and chemical vapours (VOCs) guide the investigation. Sampling is targeted and used only when it adds clarity.

Credentials that
support the process
Expertise: grounded in industry standards. RBQ license and relevant IICRC training. Practical recommendations tailored to the building’s actual conditions

A prioritized plan -
not just a lab report
Direction, not just data. Findings become clear priorities: what needs attention now, what can wait, and what should be monitored—so decisions stay informed and balanced.
Why us
Independent investigation

How is your pricing determined?
Pricing depends on the scope of service: space size/complexity, your concerns, and type of reporting (verbal, written, protocol, sampling, etc.).
An on-site assessment with a verbal summary starts at $350.
Do you do remediation (mold removal / cleaning / repairs)?
No. Puritas focuses exclusively on assessment, investigation, and recommendations.
We do not perform remediation, which keeps our guidance independent and unbiased.
Do you do air sampling by default?
No. We begin with a structured on-site assessment.
Sampling is recommended only when it meaningfully adds clarity to the investigation
I think I may have found mold, what should I do?
Finding mold can be stressful, but it’s often manageable. Avoid disturbing it, limit moisture, and avoid spreading contamination.
If you’re unsure, contact us for a structured assessment to clarify the situation
Do you provide mold sampling, reports, or documents for tenants?
Written reports and protocols are provided to the property owner or their authorized representative, not directly to tenants.
Do you provide expertise
for disputes (legal opinions / expert witness)?
No. Puritas provides assessments and recommendations for decision-making.
We do not offer legal opinions or expert-witness services

Meet the Founder

At Puritas, I understand the stress that poor indoor air quality can cause—not just to comfort, but to daily life and peace of mind. My approach is careful and structured: I listen closely, look for patterns and triggers, and inspect the space methodically—focusing on moisture, ventilation, materials, and likely sources.
From there, I identify the most probable root causes and translate the findings into clear, actionable next steps. As an RBQ-licensed general contractor with relevant IICRC certifications, I bring a practical, building-first perspective. My approach is also shaped by early respiratory therapy training, helping me stay people-focused and evidence-based—asking the right questions, recognizing patterns, and communicating next steps clearly, without unnecessary alarm.
